If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that I am a huge fan of Chocopain, a French Bakery that has few locations in Hoboken and Jersey City. So, when I heard that they were opening a new place in Jersey City, I had to check it out. So, I walked approximately 10 minutes from the Journal Square Path station, and found Chocopain on the ground floor of a Luxury Building, Le Leo, recently erected.
The place is of a good size, bright with floor to ceiling windows, with a perfect setup to not just have breakfast, but also work, the communal table being equipped with power outlets and USB chargers. In terms of offering, they have the same as all their other locations: tea and coffee for beverages, croissants, chocolate croissants, chocolate babka and chouquettes, among other things.
I am always happy to see a business thrive; and when it is one that I love like Chocopain, I cannot be happier and wish Clemence Danko, the owner, and the Chocopain Team, all the success in this location and many more to open!
