When Morelia Gourmet Paletas opened in Hoboken, I was really excited! I love ice cream, so combined with whatever topping you can put on top, this is heaven. The ice cream at Morelia is simply delicious, made fresh everyday, and creamy. When you go there, you first pick your paleta from their large selection, that you can then dip and cover with the topping of your choice: dark chocolate, white chocolate, crunchy hazelnut, cookie butter for the dips and Oreo crumbs, peanuts, pistachio, almonds, M&M’s, rainbow sprinkles, Graham Crackers, toasted coconut flakes and more for the toppings. My favorite? The white chocolate sauce, covered with Graham cracker, and topped with condensed milk.

They have many flavors, some with a filling inside, like the dulce de leche with dulce de leche filling that definitely works, the creamy ice cream balancing the sweetness of the generous filling, or the banana filled with Nutella that would satisfied people who love this chocolate hazelnut deliciousness; those with no filling are still delicious, my favorite being the Sicilian pistachio and one of their best sellers, the cookies and cream with pieces of Oreo cookies. For an even more decadent ice cream, try their chocolate fudge brownie that has a delicious brownie inside. For more classic flavors, you can get their coconut paleta that is vegan, or lime sorbet.

With so many flavors, dips and toppings, each visit can be different and the combinations are endless: this is the kind of place where I never get tired to go to!
