It’s been 10 years since I dined at Keens Steakhouse, one of the oldest steakhouses in the city that some consider the best. I went back for the mutton chop that is their specialty, a dish they served when they opened back in 1885 that never gets old. This 26oz piece of meat priced at $68 is huge and would satisfy anyone who loves lamb. Perfectly cooked, tender and juicy, with some nice fat on the side, this is a perfect meal.
Having the mutton chop at Keens Steakhouse is a must do, but this is not the only thing there: the place is covered with churchwarden pipes, some of them belonging to JP Morgan, Babe Ruth or Buffalo Bill. So, if after that you are not convinced to go, I am not sure what would…
Enjoy (I did)!
